A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Wolverine lovingly staring into Jean Grey's eyes before discovering that it is actually Morph, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season two episode "Whatever It Takes," which aired on November 6, 1993. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6.75"x5", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, slight line wear, minimal cel curling, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
